High-Speed Head-On Collision in Snohomish Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

Snohomish, WA (January 11, 2025) On Friday afternoon, a frightening 2-vehicle crash near Bunk Foss Road left a person dead and another hospitalized with injuries.

According to the Snohomish County Fire & Rescue (SCFR), the fatal crash happened near South Machias Road.

Reports say that a high-speed head-on collision involved two pickup trucks and left one person dead and another injured.

Authorities say that the crash occurred near Bunk Foss Road and South Machias Road.

One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett by ambulance.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office closed part of the roadway to allow investigators to determine the cause of the crash.
