Injuries Reported in Los Angeles Auto Accident near South Tilden Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 16, 2026) – Sunday night, a crippling 2-vehicle crash near South Tilden Avenue sent two people to the hospital.

The incident involving two vehicles happened at about 8:34 p.m. near the 3000 block of South Tilden Avenue.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the crash and worked to free one patient who was trapped in the wreckage. The victim was successfully extricated by emergency crews.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, both patients were treated at the scene before being transported to local hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately available.

Video from the scene showed firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement personnel surrounding heavily damaged vehicles as crews secured the area and investigated the collision. Debris was scattered across the roadway while responders worked to clear the scene.

Authorities have not released information on what may have caused the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
