Two Critically Injured in Kansas City Collision Near Truman Road

Kansas City, MO (November 11, 2025) — 2 people sustained critical injuries Sunday evening after a two-vehicle crash near Truman Road and Askew Avenue in Kansas City.

According to police, a Toyota Highlander traveling east attempted to make a left turn onto northbound Askew when it collided with a westbound Dodge Dart.

Reports say that the driver and passenger inside the Toyota suffered life-threatening injuries, while the Dodge driver sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the crash and determining whether impairment played a role.
