LOS FELIZ, CA (August 16, 2026) – Saturday morning, a horrific 2-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway and Los Feliz Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened at around 8:25 a.m. on 5 Freeway and Los Feliz Boulevard.

According to reports, the crash involved a black sedan and a gray van.

Moreover, responders pronounced one person dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed one person to a hospital with major injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed the number three and four lanes of the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway at the Los Feliz Boulevard off-ramp.
