DALLAS, TX (May 19, 2026) – Sunday morning, a person died in a horrific 2-vehicle crash on 5500 S Buckner Boulevard.

The incident involving two vehicles happened at about 1:10 a.m. in the 5500 block of S Buckner Boulevard.

Officials said a pickup truck ran a red light and collided with an SUV.

Police said the pickup driver died at the scene. The SUV driver was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
