2 People Dead in Killeen Auto Accident on 700 East Stan Schlueter Loop

KILLEEN, TX (June 2, 2026) – Monday morning, a fatal 2-vehicle crash on 700 East Stan Schlueter Loop killed two people.

The incident happened at around 7:56 a.m. at the 700 block of East Stan Schlueter Loop.

According to reports, a westbound gray Toyota SUV veered into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with an eastbound silver Kia SUV.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 41-year-old male driver of the Toyota dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed the 73-year-old female passenger of the Kia to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. Also, authorities said that the 77-year-old male driver of the Kia sustained critical injuries and was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center for treatment.

Furthermore, authorities said that that the driver of the driver of the Toyota showed signs of impairment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
