Victorville, CA (August 2, 2026) — At least one person was hospitalized after a suspected DUI-related two-vehicle crash on D Street Saturday night in Victorville.

The collision occurred just before 10 p.m. on August 1 along D Street near First Street. The crash involved a black Chevrolet Impala and a black Ford pickup truck. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported at least one injured person to a local hospital. Officials have not released the severity of the injuries.

Authorities detained an adult man at the scene. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department media logs, investigators classified the incident under California Penal Code 23153, which involves driving under the influence causing injury. However, officials have not identified the detained individual or confirmed the circumstances surrounding the detention.

Investigators temporarily closed D Street in both directions while they examined the crash site and crews removed the damaged vehicles. The roadway reopened after the scene was cleared.
