Brutal 2-Vehicle Crash on Fountaingrove Parkway Injures 2 [Santa Rosa, CA]

Santa Rosa, CA (July 5, 2025) On Thursday afternoon, a violent 2-vehicle crash on Fountaingrove Parkway left 2 motorists with injuries.

According to Santa Rosa police, the shocking incident happened around 12:25 p.m. on Fountaingrove Parkway between Stagecoach Road and Thomas Lake Harris Drive.

Reports say that a rear-end crash involving two elderly drivers caused major vehicle damage and left both motorists with non-life-threatening injuries.

Santa Rosa police reported that a white Chevy sedan, traveling westbound behind a red Ford sedan, suddenly accelerated and struck the rear of the Ford. The impact caused both vehicles to spin and crash into nearby trees lining the road.

Initial investigations suggest the Chevy’s elderly driver may have mistakenly pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing the sudden acceleration.

Paramedics transported both drivers to a local hospital. Authorities closed Fountaingrove Parkway for approximately four hours to conduct the investigation but have since reopened the road.
