2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 190 Claims a Life [Daviess County, MO]

Daviess County, MO (September 20, 2026) — On Tuesday morning, a 43-year-old Darlington man died after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 190 in Daviess County, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 190 and Route P, about three miles north of Jamesport. The Darlington man was driving a 2002 Toyota Camry when the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the path of a northbound 2024 Ford F-250.

The Ford struck the Toyota, then overturned and landed on its roof in a nearby field. The Darlington man died at the scene.

The 77-year-old Ford driver and his 75-year-old passenger, both from Gilman City, were transported by air ambulance to North Kansas City Hospital with serious injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated with assistance from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
