SUNSET HILLS, MO (September 22, 2026) – Monday morning, a horrific 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 270 near Gravois Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. on Interstate 270 near Gravois Road.

According to reports, a semi-truck struck a pickup truck that stalled after an earlier crash. Then, the force of the crash ejected a female occupant of the pickup into the roadway.

Moreover, responders rushed the woman to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the crash closed three left lanes of northbound Interstate 270.
