Motorcyclist Killed, Juvenile Hurt in San Jose Crash on Branham Lane

San Jose, CA (September 26, 2025) — On Thursday evening, a frightening crash on Jarvis Avenue between a motorcycle and a vehicle left one person dead and a child injured.

The crash occurred around 8:05 p.m. near Branham Lane and Jarvis Avenue. Police said the motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and later died at a nearby hospital.

A juvenile riding in the other vehicle was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of that vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities shut down Branham Lane between Robb Drive and Jarvis Avenue for several hours while detectives examined the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
