3 People Hurt in Washington County Auto Accident on Missouri 21 and Missouri Route E

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO (September 2, 2026) – Saturday night, a startling 2-vehicle crash on Missouri 21 and Missouri Route E injured three people.

The incident happened at around 8:15 p.m. on Missouri 21 and Missouri Route E.

According to reports, a northbound 1994 GMC 1500 turned left and collided with a southbound 2008 Hyundai Elantra.

Moreover, responders transported the 17-year-old male driver of the GMC with minor injuries, the 42-year-old female driver of the Hyundai and her 19-year-old female passenger, both with moderate injuries, to Washington County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
