2-Vehicle Crash on Missouri Boulevard Led to Injury [Jefferson City, MO]

Chevrolet Driver Hospitalized After Pickup Truck Crash in Jefferson City

Jefferson City, MO (May 1, 2026) — On Wednesday evening, a driver of a Chevrolet Silverado sustained injuries and sought medical evaluation following a two-vehicle crash on Missouri Boulevard in Jefferson City.

The collision happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Missouri Boulevard and Kansas Street. Authorities said a red Ford F-150 and a brown Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD were involved in the incident, which caused the Ford truck to roll onto its side.

Despite the rollover, the Ford driver declined medical attention at the scene. Meanwhile, the Chevrolet driver chose to go to a hospital for further evaluation of injuries.

Officials reported no serious injuries from the crash, and the circumstances leading up to the collision remain under review.

Let’s Avoid Traffic Accidents

Avoiding auto accidents involves paying attention and practicing safe driving methods. And as always, you should follow the speed and traffic laws, and don’t text (or use your phone in any way) behind the wheel.

Keep a safe trailing distance to be able to stop, if necessary.

Do not drink and drive, and never get behind the wheel if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if you are tired.

Watch your mirrors and use your turn signals, and check your blind spots, before changing lanes or making a turn. Drive calmly and patiently, especially in heavy traffic or bad weather.

When you drive responsibly and remain alert, you help prevent accidents and keep everyone on the road safe.

Even when injuries seem minor after a crash, it is important to seek medical evaluation. Some symptoms may not appear immediately, and early care can prevent more serious complications later.
