Victim Airlifted After Head-On Crash on SR-160 in Sacramento County

Sacramento County, CA (May 3, 2026) — On Thursday afternoon, a violent two-vehicle crash on State Route 160 in Sacramento County left one person critically injured and another hurt.

Officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to the collision near Sherman Island Road at around 3:08 p.m. Investigators believe the crash involved a head-on impact along the rural highway.
