Woman Hospitalized After Crash on Andrews Highway in Odessa
Odessa, TX (July 10, 2026) – Two people, including a 2-year-old child, were hospitalized after a crash on Andrews Highway on Friday morning, according to the Odessa Police Department.
The collision occurred near the intersection of Andrews Highway and 100th Street.
Police closed the northbound lanes while officers investigated the crash before reopening the roadway later in the day.
Authorities said a 68-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Medical Center Hospital for treatment.
A 2-year-old child also sustained injuries in the crash. The child was initially taken to Medical Center Hospital before being airlifted to Lubbock with serious bodily injuries.
Police have not released additional information about what caused the collision, how many vehicles were involved, or whether any citations or charges are pending.
The investigation remains ongoing.
