28-Year-Old Passenger Dead in Vehicle Crash on MO 18 [Clinton, MO]

Clinton, MO (February 12, 2025) –  A 36-year-old driver and 28-year-old passenger were killed in a vehicle crash on MO 18 early Saturday morning.

The fatal crash happened before 2 a.m. on February 8 at SW 100th Road.

Officers said the driver and the passenger, both male, were southbound when they went off the left side of the road and struck several trees. 

Their 2023 Tesla Model S rolled and caught fire.

Unfortunately, both of them were declared deceased at the scene.

Meanwhile, the authorities stated that it did not appear the driver was wearing a seatbelt when the collision happened, though, there is no information on the passenger’s seatbelt status.
