Injuries Reported in Los Angeles Auto Accident on Robertson Boulevard and 3rd Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 2, 2026) – Wednesday night, 3 burglary suspects were arrested after the pursuit crash on Robertson Boulevard and 3rd Street.

The incident began with a burglary at about 5:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of Sunset Plaza Drive.

Police said officers attempted to stop a Lexus sedan, but the driver refused to yield, leading officers on a pursuit.

The chase ended when the Lexus collided with a sport utility vehicle at the intersection of Robertson Boulevard and 3rd Street. Both vehicles came to rest near a power pole outside a 76.

Authorities said the Lexus caught fire after the crash, and firefighters extinguished the flames using a chemical agent.

Three male suspects fled on foot but were captured a short time later by the Los Angeles Police Department.

One person was transported to a hospital for treatment. Police did not specify whether the injured person was one of the suspects or the other driver.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not released the suspects’ identities.
