Injuries Reported in Phoenix Auto Accident on Interstate 40 at Milepost 101

PHOENIX, AZ (February 15, 2026) – Friday morning, 3 children were hospitalized after a startling rollover crash on Interstate 40 at Milepost 191.

The incident happened at about 9:15 a.m. on Interstate 40 at the milepost 191 eastbound off-ramp, near the Historic Rt. 66 interchange just west of Flagstaff.

An infant and two older children were taken to a hospital, though it’s unclear how serious their injuries are.

DPS officials said a truck also spun out and nearly struck the overturned vehicle. Troopers have responded to several other slide-offs along the interstate, but no additional serious crashes have been reported. Still, DPS warned that road conditions could worsen as snow continues to fall.

Arizona’s Family First Alert Weather Team said snowfall in northern Arizona is expected to taper off by late evening.

The weekend forecast calls for dry conditions before another round of storms moves in, bringing renewed chances for High Country snow through Wednesday.
