According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the horrific crash happened at about 9 p.m. near Road S Northwest.

Reports say that the collision involved a car and a minivan carrying five children sent one child and two adults.

Authorities say that the crash occurred around 9 p.m. on Highway 28 when a 72-year-old driver ran a stop sign on Road S Northwest and struck the minivan.

Officials say that only one child in the minivan was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.

Medics say that a 65-year-old woman, a 45-year-old woman, and a 15-year-old were transported to Quincy Valley Hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been disclosed.
