EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, MO (January 6, 2025) – On Saturday, 3 people suffered injuries in a disastrous auto accident on Route PP near Holt.

The incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on Route PP near Holt.

A 27-year-old woman driving a Ford Explorer on Route PP, two miles east of Holt, lost control of the vehicle on an icy roadway, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. The vehicle veered off the north side of the road, hit a ditch, and overturned, coming to rest on its roof.

The driver and a 27-year-old male passenger sustained moderate injuries, while a 7-year-old child in the vehicle had minor injuries. All three were transported to Liberty Hospital by Holt Ambulance for treatment.
