PALM SPRINGS, CA (May 7, 2026)— Three people suffered injuries Thursday afternoon after a four-vehicle crash on Sunrise Way.

Palm Springs police said the collision happened around 2 p.m. on Sunrise Way, south of Tamarisk Road.

According to police spokesperson Capt. Gustavo Araiza, the crash injured three people. Two victims suffered moderate injuries, while one person sustained minor injuries.

Tow trucks responded to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles. Araiza said around 3 p.m. that crews expected to clear the roadway shortly.

The Palm Springs Police Department continues to investigate.

Injured in a Palm Springs Multi-Vehicle Crash? Sweet Lawyers Can Help

A four-vehicle crash can leave victims facing pain, confusion, vehicle damage, and uncertainty about what to do next.

Even when injuries are described as moderate or minor, accident victims may still need medical treatment, follow-up care, time away from work, and help dealing with insurance companies.

In some cases, symptoms such as neck pain, back pain, headaches, soft tissue injuries, and emotional distress may worsen after the initial shock of the crash fades.

At Sweet Lawyers, we understand how stressful the aftermath of a multi-vehicle collision can be. When several vehicles are involved, determining fault may require a careful review of the crash scene, police reports, driver statements, witness accounts, traffic conditions, vehicle damage, and any available camera footage.

Insurance companies may also dispute responsibility or attempt to minimize the seriousness of injuries, making experienced legal guidance especially important.

Our team helps injured victims understand their rights and pursue compensation for their crash-related losses.

Depending on the circumstances, compensation may include medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, rehabilitation costs, property damage, and other accident-related losses.

You should not have to navigate these challenges alone while trying to recover.

Sweet Lawyers handles personal injury cases with compassion, professionalism, and dedication. We know that every injured person deserves clear communication, trusted support, and a legal team that treats their case with care.
