1 Person Critical After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Decker Lane in Austin

AUSTIN, TX (May 14, 2026) — Three people suffered injuries early Thursday after a crash on Decker Lane involving several vehicles and a motorcycle in East Austin.

Austin-Travis County EMS said the collision happened around 5:50 a.m. in the 5600 block of Decker Lane.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, four vehicles were involved in the crash, including a motorcycle.

DPS said the crash happened after one vehicle stopped to clear debris from the roadway.

Emergency responders transported three adult patients to Dell Seton Medical Center. One person suffered critical, life-threatening injuries. The other two patients sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not released additional details about the identities of those injured or what role each vehicle played in the collision.

The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the crash.
