Police Investigate Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 in Bruceville-Eddy

Bruceville-Eddy, TX (November 22, 2025) – A serious three-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 near Bruceville-Eddy early Friday morning left three individuals injured and required emergency crews to extricate one driver from a damaged vehicle.

The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. near the 317 mile marker on the northbound side of I-35. 

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Freightliner tractor-trailer was parked on the highway shoulder when it was struck by a Waste Management garbage truck. 

The impact forced the garbage truck into a nearby Ford Bronco, resulting in significant vehicle damage.

Emergency responders arrived promptly and worked to free the garbage truck driver, who was trapped inside the wreckage. 

All three drivers involved in the crash were transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Waco. 

Authorities confirmed that all injuries were non-life-threatening.

DPS Sergeant Ryan Howard reported that the northbound lanes of I-35 were temporarily closed for approximately four hours as crews worked to clear the scene and investigate the incident.
