Felipe Marceleno Arrested after Crash on 42nd and Golder in Odessa

Odessa, TX (February 21, 2023) – Saturday morning, a 60-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman sustained injuries in a crash on 42nd and Golder.

Subsequently, police arrested Felipe Marceleno for racing on a public highway.

The crash in Odessa happened just after 10:30 a.m. on February 18.

Odessa Police said a pickup truck was traveling east on 42nd and tried to turn onto Golder while a white car was traveling at a high rate of speed west on 42nd.

The car struck the pickup truck and then left the roadway, striking a signal pole and an electrical pole.

Two people inside the truck were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

EMS also transported Marceleno with non-life-threatening injuries and was arrested for racing on a public highway.

Further investigation is ongoing.
