3 Killed in Highway 90 Pursuit Crash [Kinney County, TX]

Kinney County, TX (April 25, 2023) – On Sunday, three people lost their lives following a Kinney County solo-vehicle crash.

Texas Department of Public Safety officers tried to pull over a driver suspected of human smuggling on the freeway.

However, the driver of a black pickup truck evaded the officers several times. The suspect’s vehicle struck a ditch and rolled over.

Eight people were thrown from the vehicle. Two of them died at the scene and another died in a helicopter while on the way to the hospital.

In the meantime, officers are investigating the incident.
