3 Killed in Head-On Crash on El Mirage Road [Adelanto, CA]

Adelanto, CA (February 8, 2025) –  Three people lost their lives following a head-on crash on El Mirage Road early Friday morning.

The deadly collision happened around 5:38 a.m. on February 7, west of Koala Road.

According to the investigators, a red Honda sedan, occupied by a single driver, and a dark-gray 2001 Chevy Tahoe carrying five people, were involved in the fatal crash. They said the SUV was traveling west while the sedan was traveling east. Suddenly, the sedan crossed into the path of the SUV and the two vehicles collided.

Responding officers the SUV driver and rear passenger, and the Honda passenger, deceased at the scene.

Meanwhile, a Reach medical helicopter airlifted a male passenger from the SUV to Antelope Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

The other two occupants of the SUV were transported to area hospitals via ground ambulances.

Police closed El Mirage Road in both directions between Richardson Avenue and Koala Road during the investigation.
