3 People Injured in I-17 Vehicle Crash [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (January 19, 2026) – Three people were injured in an I-17 vehicle crash past Sunday midnight.

It was around 1 a.m. when Phoenix police attempted a traffic stop near Indian School Road.

However, the vehicle fled from officers and crashed into another vehicle near Bethany Home Road.

Responding officers found the two vehicles that crashed and three patients at the scene.

The medical team rushed a woman to a hospital in critical condition. Two men were also hospitalized in stable condition. 

Police said all the patients were riding the car that was hit. 

The authorities arrested the driver of the fleeing vehicle.
