3-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 15 Injures 1 [Cajon Pass, CA]

Cajon Pass, CA (May 22, 2025) — On Wednesday afternoon, a person was transported after a three-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 NB in the Cajon Pass area.

The crash occurred around 2:34 p.m., just before Highway 138, and blocked the slow lane and the No. 3 lane for about an hour. Authorities said the vehicles involved included a white Toyota Yaris sedan, a gray Jeep Cherokee, and a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, all of which sustained significant damage.

Traffic backed up to Glen Helen Parkway as crews worked to clear the scene. One person was transported from the area with injuries, though officials have not released their condition.

Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
