30-Year-Old O’Fallon Man Injured in I-270 Collision [Maryland Heights, MO]

Maryland Heights, MO (August 7, 2025) – A 30-year-old man from O’Fallon and a 40-year-old man from St. Louis were injured in an I-270 collision Tuesday afternoon.

The traffic crash happened around 3:50 p.m. on the northbound highway near the Interstate 70 exit.

According to the authorities, a 2006 Mitsubishi box truck driven by the St. Louis man rear-ended a 2014 Toyota Highlander driven by the O’Fallon.

As a result, the Highlander crashed onto a 2014 Chevrolet Volt, which then rear-ended a 2020 Toyota RAV4.

The driver of a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica tried to avoid the pile-up but ended up striking the Volt.

The Highlander was seriously injured while the Mitsubishi driver sustained minor injuries.

Troopers are investigating this multi-vehicle crash.
