37-Year-Old Damone Boshane Faces Charges in I-35 DWI Crash

Belton Driver Transported in Head-On Crash Near Winston

Daviess County, MO (April 4, 2026) – 37-year-old Damone Boshane of Kansas City is facing charges while a 43-year-old Belton man was injured following an I-35 DWI crash Friday.

Troopers said Boshane was driving a southbound vehicle on the northbound lanes of the freeway and struck a northbound vehicle head-on.

Both vehicles went off the freeway and rested on the median as a result of the collision.

Moreover, the Belton man who was driving the northbound vehicle sustained serious injuries. Rescuers rushed him to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

MSHP said Boshane was not injured in the collision. Officers charged him with Felony DWI-Drugs, Driving in the Wrong Direction, and Operating a Vehicle in a Careless and Imprudent Manner.
