1 Person Hospitalized after Disastrous 4-Vehicle Crash on Northbound 15 Freeway and Main Street [Hesperia, CA]

Injuries Reported in Hesperia Multi-Vehicle Accident on Northbound 15 Freeway and Main Street

HESPERIA, CA (March 1, 2026) – Friday afternoon, a disastrous 4-vehicle crash on Northbound 15 Freeway and Main Street sent 1 to the hospital.

The incident involving a white GMC pickup truck, a Honda Civic, a gray Jeep Compass SUV, and a tractor-trailer, happened at around 3:00 p.m. on northbound 15 Freeway, north of Main Street.

The GMC pickup sustained damage to the front driver’s side, and the Honda Civic had front-end damage. A gray Jeep Compass was overturned in the crash. The tractor-trailer did not appear to have visible damage.

Officers with the California Highway Patrol initially shut down all northbound lanes as firefighter-paramedics with San Bernardino County Fire evaluated injured individuals at the scene.

The driver of the overturned SUV was the only person taken to a hospital. The extent of the injuries was not immediately known.

CHP officers later placed cones and reopened one lane, allowing traffic to resume. Northbound traffic remained backed up south of Ranchero Road as crews continued clearing the scene.

Motorists experienced significant delays in the area during the afternoon commute.
