Phoenix, AZ (July 12, 2026) – A 40-year-old man lost his life in a pedestrian accident near 15th Avenue early Friday morning.

Troopers said they received reports of a man lying on the road near Clarendon Avenue.

On the way, police received reports that the man was hit by a vehicle.

The rescuers rushed to the scene and transported the extremely critically injured man to a hospital, where he later died.

The driver stayed at the crash scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Police do not believe impairment or speed played roles in the deadly crash.
