48-Year-Old Anacortes Man Killed in Q Avenue Collision [Anacortes, WA]

Driver Arrested in Anacortes Deadly Motorcycle Crash

Anacortes, WA (July 5, 2025) – A 48-year-old Anacortes man lost his life in a Q Avenue collision Wednesday night.

The authorities said it was around 10:17 p.m. when they received a report of a motorcycle down in a parking lot and an unconscious but breathing rider.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed and rendered aid, but soon declared the motorcyclist dead.

Investigators discovered that the motorcycle had been in a collision with another vehicle and arrested a 49-year-old Anacortes man on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.

Anacortes Police is investigating this motorcycle crash and ask anyone who may have details to call them at 360-293-4684.
