5 Transported in Vehicle Crash on Jones Maltsberger Road [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (March 22, 2026) –  Five people were rushed to hospitals following a vehicle crash on Jones Maltsberger Road Thursday night.

It was past 8 p.m. when the two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection with East Rector Drive.

SAPD determined that two vehicles traveling in opposite directions attempted to pass through a yellow light.

The two vehicles collided at the center of the intersection.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed to the scene and transported a driver and four passengers to an area hospital with minor injuries.
