5-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured in E Mill Plain Boulevard Accident [Vancouver, WA]

Vancouver, WA (January 12, 2025) – A 5-year-old boy sustained serious injuries following an E Mill Plain Boulevard accident Thursday afternoon.

The authorities responded around 3:30 p.m. to the traffic accident at the parking lot of the Townhouse Square Apartments.

According to the investigators, the driver was driving in the parking lot when he felt the rear of his vehicle had run over something. 

The driver stopped and saw the child on the ground with his bike.

Troopers said the child was riding his bicycle between two parked cars before entering the roadway. The child was not wearing a helmet at that time.

The child incurred life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver was not released and cooperated with the investigation.

Troopers don’t believe speed or impairment were factors in the accident.
