Armando Flores Cruz Dies, Others Injured in Kerman Crash

Kerman, CA (December 04, 2021) – On Friday, 53-year-old Armando Flores sustained fatal injuries in a big rig crash on Highway 145.

The fatal crash happened at around 7:30 a.m. between Jensen Avenue and North Avenue.

The authorities said a big rig was pulling out of a driveway onto Highway 145.

At the same time, the driver of southbound minivan was unable to stop. It collided into the big rig’s side.

Flores, the van driver died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the paramedics rushed the other passengers to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. The sustained injuries from moderate to severe.

Moreover, the officers believe Flores was traveling at a high rate of speed.

Also, officers said visibility in the area at the time during that time was between 50 to 100 feet.

“Slow your speed down and turn on those low beam lights. Take some extra caution. The last thing you want to do is be involved in something tragic like we had this morning,” said CHP Officer Mike Salas.

The authorities are still investigating this fatal crash.
