56-Year-Old Janette Collazo Dead in N Bryan Avenue Accident [Lamesa, TX]

Woman Killed in Lamesa Pedestrian Crash

Lamesa, TX (April 23, 2025) – 56-year-old Janette Collazo was killed in a N Bryan Avenue accident on Easter Sunday.

The fatal crash happened before 9 a.m. at the 800 block area.

Investigators said Janette Rene Collazo was attempting to cross the road in a wheelchair when she was hit by a vehicle.

The rescuers rushed Collazo to Medical Arts Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

DPS is investigating this fatal collision.
