Police Investigate Head-On Crash on Colorado 93 in Denver

Denver, Co (June 27, 2025) – A head-on crash on Colorado 93 early Friday morning hospitalized six people.

Shortly after 5 a.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a Chevrolet Traverse and a Jeep Compass. 

The collision resulted in six individuals being transported to the hospital. Among them, a driver and a passenger sustained serious bodily injuries. 

Authorities have not yet released details about the condition of the other four individuals.

The crash forced officials to close Colorado 93—a major route connecting Golden to Boulder—for approximately two and a half hours. 

Emergency crews cleared the scene, and the road has since reopened to traffic.

The Colorado State Patrol has launched an active investigation to determine what led to the crash. 

At this point, investigators have not confirmed which vehicle the seriously injured individuals occupied, nor have they identified the cause of the collision.
