7-Year-Old Child Dead in Collision on US 359 [Laredo, TX]

Laredo, TX (May 23, 2025) –  A 7-year-old child was killed in a collision on US 359 Wednesday.

The fatal solo-vehicle crash happened about 2:20 p.m. near the US 359 Direct Connector.

Investigators said the child was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.

Police emphasized the importance of everyone wearing their seat belt while in a vehicle to prevent tragedies like this.

Meanwhile, officers are investigating the deadly crash.
