DALE, TX (April 22, 2025) – On Sunday, a horrific vehicle crash and shooting accident on 6000 Taylorsville Road killed one person.

The incident happened at the 600 block of Taylorsville Road.

According to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle lost control and rolled over for still unknown reasons.

Responders transported two people to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Then, paramedics transported one more person to a hospital where the patient was later pronounced dead.

Authorities said that the deceased patient had a gunshot wound.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office continued to investigate the crash.
