Pedestrian Accident on Blackstone Avenue Led to Injury [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (November 20, 2025) — A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital Tuesday evening after a traffic accident on Blackstone Avenue in Central Fresno.

Police responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. on Blackstone Avenue near Garland Avenue. Officers arrived to find a motorcyclist on the ground with minor injuries. He reported pain but declined transport to the hospital.

The pedestrian, however, sustained a severe injury to his right leg. Officers provided aid until paramedics arrived and transported him to a local hospital.

According to investigators, the motorcyclist was heading north on Blackstone when the pedestrian attempted to cross the street. Police say the pedestrian did not have the right of way at the time of the collision.

The incident remains under review.
