Pedestrian Killed in Early-Morning Crash on Federal Boulevard in Westminster

Westminster, CO (January 25, 2026) — On Friday morning, a 39-year-old man died after a pedestrian accident on Federal Boulevard in Westminster.

Police arrived around 6:30 a.m. and found the pedestrian in the roadway, after being struck by two vehicles near the intersection of Federal Boulevard and West 96th Avenue

Officers provided aid, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said initial reports indicate he walked into traffic and was hit by both vehicles. The drivers stayed at the scene and are cooperating with investigators. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

Southbound Federal Boulevard was closed for several hours between West 96th Avenue and Green Court while the scene was processed. The Adams County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name after notifying his family.
