Poplar Bluff Motorcyclist Killed in Christmas Day Crash in Butler County
Butler County, MO (December 28, 2025) — On Christmas Day, a 36-year-old man from Poplar Bluff lost his life in a two-vehicle accident on State Highway T in Butler County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 5:05 p.m. on State Highway T, approximately seven miles east of Poplar Bluff.
Investigators determined that the motorcyclist was traveling north when a southbound SUV entered his path, causing a crash.
Emergency responders pronounced the rider dead at the scene. Authorities noted that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The driver of the SUV did not suffer any injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
