2 Children Hospitalized in Highway 190 Deadly Crash

Lampasas, TX (March 3, 2026) – 41-year-old Adela Suarez Villa of Copperas Cove was killed in a Highway 190 crash Saturday evening.

It was past 8 p.m. when the deadly vehicle crash happened near the intersection with County Road 4302.

According to the authorities, a 2005 Lexus sedan driven by 35-year-old Raul Jaimes Sanchez of Lampasas was westbound on Highway 190.

At the same time, a 2024 Lincoln SUV driven by Villa of Copperas Cove was eastbound on the same freeway.

Troopers said the Lexus drove onto the eastbound lane and collided head-on with the Lincoln.

Responding officers declared Sanchez deceased at the scene.

Immediately, the medical team responded to the crash and rushed Villa to the AdventHealth Emergency Room, where she was later declared dead.

Moreover, rescuers also took a 14-year-old male passenger in the Lincoln to the emergency room but later succumbed to his injuries.

Two other passengers in the Lincoln, a 12-year-old female and a 9-year-old male, were also hospitalized.

Traffic officers are conducting a further investigation into the fatal crash.
