43-Year-Old Agustin Baltazar Trinidad Arrested in Suspected DUI Accident on Moorpark Road [Thousand Oaks, CA]

Thousand Oaks, CA (May 23, 2025) – 43-year-old Agustin Baltazar Trinidad was arrested after driving into a CHP patrol car in a suspected DUI accident on Moorpark Road.

According to authorities, the shocking accident happened on Moorpark Road near the 101 Freeway at around 3 a.m.

Reports say that a suspected DUI driver crashed into two California Highway Patrol officers in Thousand Oaks.

Authorities say that the officers had pulled over a vehicle and parked on the right-hand lane with emergency lights activated. As they conducted the stop, Trinidad drove into their patrol car.

Emergency crews transported both officers and Trinidad to a nearby hospital. All parties are expected to recover. Authorities later arrested Trinidad for DUI causing bodily injury.
