Alan Ernaldo Marmol Melendez Arrested in Brutal Crash on N Garland Avenue [Garland, TX]

1 Person Killed in Garland Auto Accident on N Garland Avenue and Kingsley Road

GARLAND, TX (August 14, 2025) – Wednesday morning, Alan Ernaldo Marmol Melendez was arrested in brutal crash on N Garland Avenue.

The incident happened at about 2:30 a.m. on North Garland Avenue and Kingsley Road.

Police said Marmol Melendez’s black Cadillac SUV was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when it struck an eastbound Nissan SUV in the intersection.

Melendez and a passenger in his vehicle sustained minor injuries. The passenger was hospitalized and later released, authorities said.

Melendez is being held in the Garland Jail with no bond set.
