Alan Larkin Dies in Head-On Collision on State Route 195

47-year-old Pullman Driver Injured in SR-195 Head-On Crash

Whitman County, WA (June 20, 2025) — A 47-year-old woman from Pullman was hurt, and 42-year-old Alan Larkin of Clarkston died Friday afternoon after a head-on collision on State Route 195 in Whitman County.

According to the Washington State Patrol, troopers said Alan J. Larkin was driving southbound around 11:30 a.m. when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming car.

Larkin died at the scene from his injuries.

The other driver, a 47-year-old woman from Pullman, sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
