SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 9, 2026) – Sunday morning, an alarming 18-wheeler crash on Interstate 35 near Binz-Engleman Road led to road closures.

The incident occurred on the overpass of Interstate 35 near Binz-Engleman Road.

The Texas Department of Transportation said a transguide camera showed an 18-wheeler was involved in a crash that closed the Loop 410 to I-35 southbound exit ramp.

Officials reported the overpass was blocked and debris was scattered on I-35. The truck appeared to have struck a guardrail.

Authorities did not say what caused the crash or if there were injuries.

The exit ramp on the Northeast Side reopened at about 4:20 p.m., according to TxDOT, after the lanes were cleared.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
