VALLEY ACRES, CA (August 24, 2025) – Thursday night, an alarming 2-vehicle crash on Highway 119 and Airport Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 119 and Airport Road.

According to reports, a pickup and a sedan collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported the male driver of the sedan to a Bakersfield hospital with moderate injuries.

Furthermore, officers said that the sedan driver could be cited for misdemeanor drunk driving.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
