ALBUQUERQUE, NM (April 28, 2026) – Saturday, an alarming 3-vehicle accident on Interstate 40 near Tramway sent 1 person to the hospital.

The incident involving three vehicles occurred just before noon on the westbound Interstate 40 on-ramp at the southbound Tramway.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue said one person had to be extricated from a vehicle and was transported to a hospital.

Officials said the other individuals involved were not taken for further treatment.
